Friend,

When I first met Ted, he was an active duty member of the United States Air Force. Yes, I was drawn to a man in uniform -- but it was his devotion, his sense of duty, and his eagerness to serve others that captured my heart. Two decades later, he’s still that same man, and it’s been one of the great joys of my life to watch the world fall in love with the fighter I married.

As it turns out, my husband’s steadfast commitment to truth, justice, and the rule of law is particularly well-suited for the moment in which we all find ourselves today. But even when the spotlight is on Ted, as a member of two House committees and an avid, outspoken Tweeter, he never fails to set a perfect example for our two boys, Brennan and Austin. He’s a devoted husband, father, and son, and Congress could use a lot more leaders like him.
