While Bloomberg was New York City Mayor from 2002 - 2013 he supported and
pushed the racist ‘stop and frisk’ policy that brutalized and harmed
communities of color in New York City.

Now Michael ‘Billionaire’ Bloomberg is trying to buy his way to the
presidency. Justice Democrat Jamaal Bowman has spoken out about the harm
that Bloomberg’s policies have caused New Yorkers and spoke about his own
experience with this racist and cruel policy:

Jamaal shared his own experience to bring to light the harm and pain that
Bloomberg caused to countless people in New York City.

We need more leaders in Congress who will be a voice for the
under-represented — a voice for those who have been hurt by Bloomberg’s
policies. We need Jamaal Bowman in Congress, fighting for equity and
justice.
