Happy Fourth of July!

Today reminds me why I am - and all of us are - in this fight. We want a stronger future for Oregon and America - where the government serves and protects the will of the people.

This past year, our nation faced attacks on our fundamental freedoms, on marginalized communities, and on democracy itself. Thanks to supporters like you, we’ve been able to deter some of those attacks, but we’ve faced setbacks, too.

As we push forward towards a more perfect union, we must keep our focus on building a democracy that is inclusive of all people and protects the rights of our most marginalized communities. This fight won’t be easy, but I know, together, we can continue to make our country and our communities a better place.
