Friend,
On July 4th, 1776, the Founding Fathers began our great experiment – a nation where all men were created equal and endowed with God-given rights: life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.
247 years later, we celebrate our independence and the gift of living in the freest nation in the world. America continues to be a beacon of hope for all freedom-loving people – a nation where we can speak freely and practice the religion we choose. We can never take these freedoms for granted, nor forget those who laid down their lives to defend these liberties.
It is an honor to be your Representative. I will continue to humbly serve Iowans – fighting to protect the ideals our nation was founded upon, steadfastly upholding the U.S. Constitution, and advocating for the issues that matter most to you and your family.
"We're blessed with the opportunity to stand for something — for liberty and freedom and fairness. And these are things worth fighting for, worth devoting our lives to."
- President Ronald Reagan
I hope you have a great Fourth of July and celebrate living in the greatest nation on earth.
Best,
