Nearly a quarter of a millennium ago, our founders sought freedom from the rule of a king. Today, we’re leading the charge to free Americans from the demands of extreme political partisanship.

Hi Friend,

On July 4, 1776, our founders declared a new nation forged in liberty, free from the tyranny of monarchs. Now, 247 years later, America remains proudly standing, bowing to no king. But there’s a new fight for liberty brewing within our democracy – the need to break free from the stranglehold the two major US political parties have over American politics. It's a revolution not of muskets and cannons, but of ideas.

The founders had many grievances with the British crown, but one above all: they didn’t feel like they had a voice in their government. Today, many Americans feel the same way. For too long, the two major parties have dictated the terms of our political conversation. Once upon a time, things worked okay under that system – the two parties disagreed often, but they had good-faith bipartisan cooperation on the issues that really mattered, from building highways to link the country, to enshrining civil rights legislation to undo centuries of injustice.

But there’s been a sea change in recent decades. Extremists have captured both parties and pushed them further and further away from the political center where most Americans identify.

And Americans are fed up.

More and more Americans are declaring their independence from this partisan system and identifying as independents. In fact, polling from Gallup this year showed that a full 49% of American voters consider themselves independent, far more than those who identify as Democrats or Republicans.

That's where No Labels comes in. Like the Minutemen of old, we are mobilizing at a moment's notice to challenge the status quo and make our collective voice – the voice of the common-sense majority – heard. We are fighting for the right of every American to have real choices in our political landscape, beyond the narrow confines of 'red' or 'blue'. This is a revolution for choice, for freedom, and for progress.

We worked to build the House Problem Solvers Caucus and bipartisan Senate working groups that helped to lead some of the most important wins for the country in a generation, including landmark legislation to rebuild our nation’s infrastructure.

Now, we're taking it a step further by building the infrastructure and platform for an independent Unity ticket that could change the course of our nation's history. But we can't do it without you.

We're calling on you, our fellow revolutionaries, to join us in this fight for independence from partisanship. Your support can help us continue our crucial work, from gathering petition signatures for ballot access to conducting vital research and developing a comprehensive policy agenda.

Just as our forebears rallied to the call for independence nearly 250 years ago, we urge you to stand with us today. Join the independent movement. Support No Labels. Be a part of the revolution of today – the revolution for choice and progress in our politics.
