I'm furious.
Yesterday, the Republicans on the Senate Judiciary Committee advanced a plan that could keep little kids in Trump's prisons for up to 100 days. A HUNDRED DAYS.

Innocent children. In prison. For months and months, separated from their families.

Senate Democrats have a plan to protect these kids and stop the abuses, but Republicans wouldn't even allow a vote. They'd rather advance racist, harmful policies than listen to reason.

The bottom line: kids should be in schools, parks, and playgrounds, NOT prisons. We can do better than this. Everyone deserves to be treated with dignity and respect, no matter the color of their skin or where they come from.
