Last night, Israel launched an operation in Jenin to dismantle terrorist infrastructure and prevent continued attacks against Israeli civilians.


Iranian-backed terrorist groups have seized control of Jenin from the Palestinian Authority, turning it into a hotbed for terrorism. Scores of terror attacks against Israelis have been carried out from there, and the situation has been rapidly deteriorating.


The IDF is targeting weapons depots and operation centers – including across the street from an UNRWA school – and destroying the terrorists' weapons factories. Hundreds of explosive devices have been uncovered, including a massive store of bombs beneath a mosque that were ready to use against Israelis.

Israel has the absolute right and responsibility to protect its citizens, and your support of AIPAC helps ensure the Jewish state has the resources it needs to defend itself, by itself.


In recent weeks, Iranian President Raisi met the leadership of Palestinian Islamic Jihad and Hamas in Tehran, while Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Khamenei publicly declared the regime's intentions to use the West Bank as the next military front against Israel.


Prime Minister Netanyahu and Opposition Leader Lapid have both praised the IDF for its work so far in this operation.

America must stand by our ally as it works to confront this Iranian-backed threat.


The White House said, "the United States supports Israel and its right to defend itself against Islamic Jihad, Hamas and other terrorist organizations."
