I’ll start with the positive, folks: I'm so grateful to each and every one of you who’ve shared your time, your opinions, or your hard-earned dollars with my campaign.

But as much as I wish I could give you some better news, I’m never going to hide the truth.

We fell about 27% short of our End-of-Quarter goal last week. I wouldn’t be happy if my kids brought home a 73% score on a test — so it would be rather hypocritical not to hold myself to the same standard.

I believe in the strength of this grassroots team. But this setback is a sign that we must make some changes to get our message across more effectively. Your input will make that possible.
