Mary Gay Scanlon for Congress

Many of you came together to help us finish the quarter with a strong report — and I have to say thank you.

If you didn’t have the chance to chip in last week, you can make a donation now – anything you can chip in will make a difference for our campaign.

This week’s Independence Day celebrations remind me of all that our great nation is capable of. I truly love nothing more than spending time celebrating with the folks in our community and district.

But after last week’s Supreme Court decisions, I know many Americans are feeling hurt and worried. These harmful, discriminatory, and dangerous court decisions don’t exist in a vacuum; they will impact individuals and institutions today, next year, and decades into the future. We must act swiftly and proactively in Congress to find legislative solutions on these issues and in my position as Ranking Member of the Subcommittee on the Constitution and Limited Government I can assure you I will be doing all I can to lead the way.

I also want to keep you up-to-date on this work as well as other activities on the campaign trail. Be sure to watch this space as well as follow me on Twitter to stay in the loop.
