We are thrilled to invite you to "TURN UP THE MUSIC! TURN UP THE WAGE!"—a FREE community music festival aimed at raising awareness about the new DC minimum wage increase and the new tip minimum wage for tipped workers. This event will take place on July 8, from 3 pm to 8 pm, at Lamont Plaza. 

As you may be aware, while we have plenty of labor laws in place, not all of them are being enforced. It is up to us, community members and organizations like yours, to work together and put an end to the wage theft epidemic in DC.

At the event, you can expect an exciting lineup of live music performances, speakers, resources from various organizations, delicious food, and a bouncy house to keep the whole family entertained!

Let's celebrate as a community, bring awareness and stand up against wage theft!

Estamos encantados de invitarles a "¡SUBE LA MÚSICA! ¡SUBE EL SALARIO!"—un festival comunitario de música GRATIS con la intención de informar a la comunidad sobre el nuevo aumento del salario mínimo de DC y el nuevo salario mínimo para los trabajadores que reciben propinas. Este evento se llevará a cabo el 8 de julio, de 3 pm a 8 pm, en Lamont Plaza.

Como sabrán, tenemos muchas leyes laborales vigentes pero no todas se están aplicando. Depende de nosotros, los miembros de la comunidad y organizaciones como la suya, trabajar juntos y poner fin al robo de salarios en DC.

Durante el evento, pueden esperar una linea de presentaciones de música en vivo, oradores, recursos de varias organizaciones, comida deliciosa y una casa inflable para mantener entretenida a toda la familia.

¡Celebremos como comunidad, generemos conciencia y luchemos contra el robo de salarios!
