Friend,

Last week, our Finance Director Kim updated you on the latest from the FEC reports, that show how much Don Young and I each raised and spent. I am excited that we raised more than Don Young two quarters in a row because it shows Alaskans are ready for change! With continued support, we will continue to build the campaign to earn the votes it will take for change!

You can check out more numbers in Kim’s message below, but today I wanted to highlight one of the things I’m most proud of:

Unlike Don Young, I’m not taking any corporate PAC contributions, so our campaign is truly people-powered.

That’s why today I’m personally asking for your help. Don Young has more cash on hand because as a 47-year incumbent, he doesn’t have to work to increase his name recognition. Instead, he can use that money to attack us right before the election when it matters most.

We need to spread our message throughout Alaska, and that takes resources. Will you pitch in today to help us catch up and hit our mid-quarter goal?

Subject: The FEC results are in...

Friends,

Every three months, we have to report our finances to the FEC and they make all of the data available. After a couple of weeks of suspense, the FEC finally posted Don Young’s fundraising numbers. Today we want to share with you some of the things we’ve learned from his report.

First, the good news: Alyse is STILL outraising Don Young . It’s no surprise because we have more contributions than any congressional race in Alaska’s history.

Candidate Q4 Total Entire Cycle
Don Young $211,565.33 $673,351.52
Alyse Galvin $460,447.51 $813,073.71

We’re so grateful for your continued support of our campaign. It’s inspiring to see so much grassroots energy and enthusiasm on the ground.

However, we can’t just take it easy because we’re raising more money. The fact is, we are spending more than twice the amount he is.

Candidate Cash on Hand
Don Young $673,112.87
Alyse Galvin $600,404.74

Don Young has more money in the bank than we do, and he’s saving it up so he can attack Alyse as the election gets closer.

For us to continue running the campaign Alyse wants to run so we can unseat Don Young, we need your help. [[link removed]]

Please give whatever you can today so we can defeat Don Young and bring Alaska solutions to Washington. [[link removed]]
