Pete Buttigieg mocks Ron DeSantis for trying to prove his manhood in utterly bizarre new ad
Florida Gov. and floundering presidential wannabe Ron DeSantis released a confounding video vilifying queer people and portraying himself as some sort of paragon of masculinity, prompting the artist formerly known as Mayor Pete to wonder aloud about “the strangeness of trying to prove your manhood by putting up a video that splices images of you in between oiled-up, shirtless bodybuilders.” A search is on for any remnant of DeSantis’ self-respect, but investigators are not optimistic. VIDEO OF THE DAY: New nightmare evidence against Trump surges into spotlight
New, very not good information has come to light, this time in Arizona, further exposing the disgraced ex-president's monthslong, brazen, definitely illegal campaign to overturn his resounding 2020 defeat. Turns out Trump also asked then-Gov. Doug Ducey to simply find 10,000 more votes and declare him the victor in the Grand Canyon State, echoing a similar, deeply damning request the serial con man made during a recorded call with Georgia's secretary of state. For someone who commits so many crimes, you’d think he’d be better at them.

The future of our democracy will be decided in Wisconsin
Wisconsin Democrats 1% of the vote. That's all it took for Trump to win Wisconsin in 2016...and for President Biden to win it in 2020. If we're going to protect our Senate majority and President Biden a chance to fix the Supreme Court, we're going to need to win Wisconsin. We cannot afford to let Donald Trump stack the court with more right-wing activists. Will you become a monthly donor to Wisconsin Democrats to help build the machine that will power Democrats to victory next year?
Ex-House rep declines to pledge support for Trump in order to participate at GOP primary presidential debate
Texas' Will Hurd, once the sole Black Republican in the US House, refused to sign a GOP pledge requiring any candidate participating in the primary to back the eventual winner, even if that person is accused rapist and traitor, Donald Trump. This is what passes for courage in today's Republican Party.

"Boris is a moron": Michael Cohen unloads on Trump’s new legal fixer
The disgraced ex-president's former fixer castigated the serial con man's current fixer, Boris Epshteyn, deriding him as unintelligent and not strategic. “Everything that's happened to Donald over the course of, we’ll call it ‘Boris’ brain,’ has not inured to Donald's benefit, not one iota," Cohen said.

Democratic Reps. Pressley and Ocasio-Cortez call for changes to the Supreme Court
Following a particularly combative term in which the right-wing-dominated high court handed down a slate of disastrous decisions affecting affirmative action, student debt cancellation, and LGBTQ protections, the progressive House Democrats amplified their calls for expanding the number of justices seated to the bench and for implementing stringent, binding ethics guidelines where essentially none currently exist. “I think everything should be on the table,” Ayanna Pressley said.

Chris Christie says Trump's biggest fear right now is prison
Erstwhile ally and perennial Trump whipping post Chris Christie took dead aim at the disgraced ex-president and current GOP frontrunner, stating, "He’s scared. Look, a guy like him, the last place you ever want to be in life is in jail because you give up all control, and he’s a complete control freak." Stand by for Donald's totally reasonable and surely in no way churlish response.

No Lie with Brian Tyler Cohen: This is bad...
🚨 Brian Tyler Cohen launched a Spanish YouTube channel! The left has a huge problem reaching Spanish speaking audiences, and our vote share among Spanish speakers is actually declining, so please spread the Democrats' message by subscribing to his channel (and watch some videos to get them going in the algorithm) by clicking here.
Under Republican pressure, Biden EPA ditches “Cancer Alley” cases
In a deeply disappointing development, the Biden administration acquiesced to flimsy Republican demands and abruptly terminated three of the EPA's highest-profile open civil rights complaints which fell under the purview of Title VI, a provision of the landmark Civil Rights Act of 1964. The cases originated in the region widely known as “Cancer Alley,” an 85-mile industrial corridor in southeast Louisiana, but stretch far beyond to communities of color across the country. “I often feel like our communities are left to fight on our own,” said Joy Banner, an activist and long-time Louisianan. "It’s disappointing when we have organizations at the federal level who aren’t willing to step in to fight along with us for our basic human right to survive."
