Here’s the good news: Democrats are surging in battleground Senate races across the nation while Republicans are trailing our candidates in fundraising and enthusiasm. Polls and analysis show we have a real shot at taking back the Senate if we can match the Republican fundraising machine. 

Here’s the bad news: McConnell’s dark money network announced a massive, record-breaking haul of $61 million last quarter and President Trump is now criss-crossing the country to help vulnerable Senate Republicans raise millions to stop us from taking back our government. 

It gets worse, though: Our donations have actually slowed a bit as we approach the half-way point in this financial quarter, and we might fall short of our mid-month goal tonight. That would be terrible news. 

Our average online contribution this week is $24.15. That’s a bit lower than projected, so it means we need more grassroots Democrats to step up than ever before if we’re going to catch up.
