I'm so grateful to have you on our team, John. Recently, I put out an urgent call asking folks like you to become Founding Donors of our Senate campaign – and donations came pouring in from across the country. I'm inspired by the power of our grassroots movement. But we have a problem.
Experts at The Washington Post and the San Francisco Chronicle reported that we have a fundraising disadvantage compared to my opponents. And The New York Times reported that this fight will be one of the most expensive races in the country. For Black women like me, we face higher barriers than other candidates – which is why I rely on grassroots supporters like you, John.

We can't afford to falter now. We've come so far, and a better future is within our reach.
