Maryland Green Party

Friend --

Below are the recent state Green Party election results and a new opportunity for you to get involved at the state or national Green Party level.

The Maryland Green Party will be holding a special election (yes, another one) from July 9 - July 23, with nominations due by the end of the day July 8.

This special election is needed because we just approved a bylaws change calling for at-large delegates to the Maryland Green Party governing body or "Coordinating Committee."

Nominations are also open for three "alternate (backup) delegates" to the national Green Party's main voting body, the "National Committee". Alternates only vote when the main designated delegates have not done so near the end of voting on an issue before the National Committee.

If you want to know more or are interested or think you might be, please contact us before 10PM July 8.
