John,

My name is Charles Booker. I’m a proud Sunrise-endorsed candidate running against Mitch McConnell. Today, I’m writing because I need your help.

On Thursday, the DSCC (the official Senate campaign arm of the Democratic Party) endorsed my opponent in the primary. Before a single Kentuckian cast a ballot, party bosses in D.C. already hand picked who they think should be the nominee.

It’s not just Kentucky. They pulled the same stunt in Colorado, Texas and other states too. Why? Because the establishment doesn’t like that we are fighting for a Green New Deal. We’re upsetting the status quo.

Can you sign our petition to call on the DSCC to stop meddling in our Democratic primaries? Let the voters decide who to put up against Mitch McConnell in November.

I’ll be frank. The DSCC doesn’t believe a Green New Deal candidate can beat Mitch McConnell. They truly believe the way to win is by running to the soft center. That’s why they endorsed a Democrat who said Mitch’s problem is that he isn’t passing enough of Trump’s bills. (I’m not kidding!)

We can prove the DSCC wrong, and show them that a Green New Deal can bring us victory in November. But we’ll only get that chance if enough of us make our voices heard right now to stop them from stacking the deck in favor of these handpicked establishment candidates.

Add your name to our petition now. Tell the DSCC: stay out of our primaries and let the voters decide.

Thank you for lending your voice to this fight.

Charles Booker
Candidate for U.S. Senate in Kentucky

P.S. Haven't heard of me? Watch my launch video to learn about our movement in Kentucky and why I'm running. If you like what you see, chip in so have what it takes to take on the establishment bosses of both parties.
