[link removed] [[link removed]] Hey friend – As we set out to enjoy the Fourth of July weekend, I wanted to briefly touch upon the recent Supreme Court rulings that have left many of us disappointed and concerned.
In a series of decisions, the Court has made choices that, frankly, seem to make life more challenging for the most vulnerable among us.
As we celebrate Independence Day, it's important to remember the values that this country stands for – life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness for all. It's disheartening to see decisions contrary to these ideals.
We should take a step back and really think about how we got here. Elections matter and as a part of this team, our goal is to make Colorado and the whole country the best place to live in the world. We've got to be the ones to step up and fix these problems - for us and the people around us.
Let's not let this dampen our spirit, but strengthen our resolve.
Let’s channel our energies into making a positive impact, by working together.
Let's come back with a renewed vigor to work towards the nation we believe in.
