John, I know it’s a holiday weekend, so I’ll keep this quick.

As we close the books on our finance reports for the first half of the year, I just wanted to say thank you. You’ve stood by me, you’ve believed in me, and together, we didn’t just hit our fundraising goal—it looks like we blew past it. We’re still crunching the exact numbers, but I’m very, very pleased with the report we’re going to be able to file in the coming days. I can’t wait for the whole state to see just how strong this campaign is.

John, we’re doing something really special together. We’re saying all the things that the big-name consultants up in DC tell you not to, and it turns out, when you’re just honest with folks, when you’re just out here to help people get a leg up, it resonates. So thank you for your trust in me and thank you for being part of this movement.
