In a few day's, we will celebrate the 4th of July. While the 4th of July is supposed to commemorate our nations independence, this week was a wake up call for many of us, as we watch our rights and freedoms erode under the guise of an "independent" rouge judiciary. President Biden was right, this isn't a normal court. The Supreme Court justices are off the rails. They have lost sight of what Americans want and need, and quite frankly they are too busy protecting their political partisan interests to even care. But all hope is NOT lost! This week, The Supreme Court voted to allow businesses to refuse to serve any group of people they don't like. The case was against members of the LGBTQ community, but it opens the door to turn back the clock and deny all citizens the right to be served. They refused millions of Americans access to much needed student loan debt relief, and we have now seen that these justices will make hypocritical decisions that overturn over 50 years of court precedent by voting against Affirmative Action when it comes to giving all students a shot at a quality education, while preserving Affirmative Action when it comes to sending our children to war! The Supreme Court Justices decided that Affirmative Action is only necessary when it serves their political partisan interests. This court is NOT legitimate! They are not independent arbiters of justice, and we must fight back.
If we can keep the Presidency, win back the House of Representatives, and establish a bigger majority in the Senate, we can right the wrongs that we witnessed this week. I will fight for you! There are a number of things Congress can do to save our democracy, but Warren Davidson won't do it. He doesn't believe in democracy.
