Over the past year, I’ve worked very closely with Adam Schiff to pass important legislation – such as lower prescription drug prices, stronger voting rights, and commonsense gun violence prevention measures – while standing on the right side of history and defending our democracy in the U.S. House, and I must say, it’s been an honor.

Holding this president accountable hasn’t been easy, especially with the GOP undermining us at every turn in both chambers of Congress. And his dangerous agenda continues to threaten the American people he was sworn to serve, whether it’s his cruel budget proposal to gut Americans’ Social Security, Medicare and Medicaid, or his attacks on the Affordable Care Act.

The only way we’re going to stop Trump and his party from continuing to push our country down this dark path is by removing him from office, defending our House Democratic Majority, taking back the Senate and electing a Democratic President of the United States at the ballot box this November. That’s why it’s imperative we keep our heads up and our sights set on Election Day.

Along with his work in the House, Adam has also been tapped to serve as the Frontline Finance Chair. With a strong grassroots army behind him, Adam has been a huge source of support for our frontline Democrats running in competitive races this year, while he himself faces a jungle primary here in California along with multiple right-wing, pro-Trump opponents.
