In honor of Dairy Month and on the heels of Virginia Agriculture Week, the First Lady and Secretary of Agriculture and Forestry Matt Lohr paid a visit to Chris’s Coffee and Custard in Roanoke, VA. The shop bridges the gap between the community and people with intellectual, developmental, and physical disabilities. Kudos to Beth Woodrum, who founded Chris’s Coffee and Custard in honor of her son, Chris. |

“I think that there is a, there are a number of key topics here that I think are going to define America’s future. One is how we combat China aggression. And we have got to go combat it. Let’s just be clear. There are economic challenges that we have to rise to where we have particular sectors like semiconductors and like the supply chains in the EV’s and everything else that we have allowed China to dominate. I mean, the critical minerals world is one that we keep, that President Biden keeps driving us deeper and deeper into submission to Chinese dominance. We have got to get on this. But on top of that are our allies need to know that we’re going to stand strong,” said Governor Glenn Youngkin. If you'd like to read the full transcript you can do so here. |
