At a New Jersey women’s group, survivors find healing and support: Every month, a group of immigrant women gather at AFSC’s office in Newark. Most are survivors of domestic violence or other abuse. In this space, they find ways to support one another and resources to advocate for more just, humane migration policies for all, writes AFSC’s Guissela Galindo.

The impacts of the blockade have been devastating to the 2 million Palestinians in Gaza. It severely limits movement and access to water, electricity, and medical care.
