** Summer Fundraiser – ONE MORE CHANCE! – Day 11
------------------------------------------------------------
Dear SPUC Supporter and Friend,
As of this morning, SPUC’s Summer Appeal stood at £36,427.19.
That means that we are now just £13,572.81 away from our £50k appeal target.
THANK YOU!
All monies raised will be used to protect babies and women from the dangers of abortion. The projects that we will be funding include:
* FIGHTING abortion decriminalisation in Westminster – and the Abortion Empire’s attempts to exploit the illegal late term abortion of ‘Baby Lily’
* FIGHTING for pro-life speech, against those who seek to silence all of us
* FIGHTING against the UK Government sending hard-earned taxpayers’ money to China, a country which perpetrates forced abortion on its own population
* FIGHTING for Lydia, and other women who have been harmed by abortion, to show that abortion is NOT ABOUT CHOICE
* FIGHTING ghastly sex education programmes in Northern Ireland, which teach young girls how to obtain abortions without their parents’ knowledge
… and so much more.
I am sending this email to say THANK YOU to all of you who have helped us reach this amazing result.
But I have to be honest with you.
The financial situation in which we find ourselves today is very, very worrying.
Across the country, many other charities and non-profits are feeling the pinch caused by the financial crisis.
But unlike some of the big names, SPUC is 100% supporter-funded.
* We don’t receive Lottery money or government or corporate grants.
* Only limited areas of our work are eligible for gift aid and tax relief at present
* We are barred from advertising in many places due to the power of the Abortion Lobby.
(On that last note, it was not long ago that we were ready to sign the contract for further billboard advertising, but the company pulled the plug at the last minute. The same happened with adverts on buses. They really want to silence us.)
Our work warning women of the dangers of abortion and saving precious babies depends on YOU.
And if YOU can’t help us, no-one can.
This is one more chance for anyone who wants to support us in this Summer online fundraising campaign towards these efforts.
The more we raise, the more lives we save.

I really hope that I can avoid cutting essential areas of our work – but I have to make the books balance.
If we don't meet our fundraising target, then I am going to have to think, pray, and decide the way forward with a constricted budget – and explain to my team which aspects of work we will have been forced to cut.
* This is one more chance to give to this online Summer Fundraiser.
If you have not yet given – or even if you have – will you consider giving £20 – £50 – £100 or £500 – or an amount of your choice – to help unborn babies (and their mothers) escape the horror of abortion?
Thanks once again for helping us nearly reach our target of £50k. If you have not yet given, but would still like to contribute, your support will be very gratefully received.
If everyone who received this email gave just £20 today, then we would exceed our target – and be in a secure position for upcoming battles for our precious unborn babies.
Will you help us?

Thank you for everything you do for the great cause of life.
Yours sincerely,
John Deighan
Chief Executive
