[[link removed]]An "insect apocalypse."
A "second Silent Spring."
A "catastrophic collapse of nature's ecosystems."
This is how scientists are describing the loss of bees and other insects. The time to act is now: Donate $27 or more and help us meet our $150,000 Fiscal
Year End goal for pollinators and the planet! When you do, your gift will be
matched, dollar for dollar, up to our goal -- but only until midnight TONIGHT.

Neonicotinoid pesticides are a key driver of this crisis. They can impact bees'
ability to navigate and reproduce and even kill bees on contact. But they're also the most widely used insecticides in agriculture.
The EPA has a chance to ban neonics once and for all. Instead, it might approve these pesticides for another 15 years. But there's still hope, Friend. Because of supporters
like you, we have the chance to make real change -- change that would help
protect bees, people, and the planet. Will you join us in this fight?
Help get bee-killing pesticides out of our food system and protect our planet.
Donate $27 immediately and help us reach our $150,000 goal before midnight

[[link removed]]Bees play a crucial role in their ecosystems. From fields of blooming
wildflowers to rows of veggies on farms, these insects and others aid in plant
reproduction. Many of these plants support an entire web of life by offering
habitat and food for countless other species.
We rely on bees and other pollinators for 75% of the world's food crops,
including the most nutritious -- so when we lose bees, we also lose some of the
foods that keep us healthy! In fact, the decline in bees and other pollinators has already harmed global
fruit, vegetable, and nut production. Without access to these vital crops and a
healthy diet, people could be at higher risk of heart disease, stroke, diabetes, and even cancer, according to a recent study.
There's no mystery here. Study after study has found that the massive use of
pesticides, like Bayer-Monsanto's bee-toxic neonicotinoids, is a key driver in
the decimation of pollinators.
But pollinator-killers like Bayer-Monsanto are sweeping their lethal impact
under the rug -- and the United States EPA is giving them a free pass, allowing
widespread use of toxic pesticides instead of shifting away from chemicals we
KNOW are killing massive numbers of bees.

[[link removed]]Bees are a canary in the coal mine, signaling that the toxic way we produce food
is on a deadly track. We must act NOW to protect our health and ensure that we
are not among the last generations to share the planet with countless species of
wild bees.
At Friends of the Earth, we are doing everything we can to help save
pollinators, protect our health, and stop the destruction of our planet. We're
working to pass laws that ban toxic pesticides that are driving the decline of
bees and butterflies. At the same time, we're pushing major grocery companies
like Kroger to stop selling food grown with these chemicals. With your help and
membership support today, we can win for precious pollinators and our planet.
But the bees are running out of time -- and they need you.
If we don't stand up to Big Ag now, we could stand to lose hundreds of wild bee species in North America alone. It's up to you to help prevent a world without these vulnerable pollinators.
Please, Friend, we need you by our side as we ramp up our
efforts to save wild bees from extinction and protect our planet.
Act now to give pollinators and our planet a fighting chance. Rush your $27
donation while it can still be matched before the clock strikes midnight!
