Not only are ballot measures a cornerstone of American democracy, they are one of the most democratic tools our nation has to offer. In the face of partisan gridlock, we’ve been able to use ballot measures to enact progress for over 18 million working people across the country.

But extremist legislators have unleashed an all-out assault on direct democracy — and the latest attack is coming to a vote in less than 2 months — all because they don’t want to see Ohio voters protect abortion access this fall.
