We are just hours away from the deadline to meet our end-of-quarter goal, so I'm personally reaching out one final time to ask if you'll please consider chipping in $5 or more before midnight to help hit our $25,000 end-of-quarter goal and power our campaign.
After midnight, we'll close the book on our Q2 fundraising and report our numbers to the Federal Election Commission for everyone to see. Our GOP opponent and their allies will be watching because they want to count us out — but that's nothing new.
Growing up in the Mon Valley, I'm used to being ignored and overlooked by politicians. That's why as the first Black woman elected to represent Pennsylvania in Congress, I'm working to bring the voices and concerns of all of my constituents to our work every single day.
We're up against a far-right, extreme GOP and corrupt Supreme Court, so this is more important now than ever before. As someone with hundreds of thousands in student debt myself, this morning’s SCOTUS decision (following yesterday's cruel decision on affirmative action) was just another reminder of how the system is set up for everyday people to fail — and why we can't slow down.
