We end Pride Month this year in solidarity and hope. Despite the Supreme Court’s cruel ruling, we push forward in our shared quest for Equality.

Just as we codified Respect for Marriage after Dobbs attacked the right to privacy, Democrats will press on with resolve to defend our freedoms and take pride in our LGBTQ families. Radical right-wing extremists are specifically targeting LGBTQ rights and trans families — but we embrace our children and vulnerable communities and vow to defend them with all of our might.

To our LGBTQ+ families: we see you; we support you; and we take pride in you! Taking Pride means extending respect and love — and drawing strength and inspiration. Know your power in all of this: your power to love, to organize, to make progress.
