WEEKLY UPDATE
June 30, 2023
Dear Kansas friends,

Thank you for your interest in receiving my newsletter. Please feel free to share this with your friends and family.
It is always great stopping by WIBW and chatting with Melissa about what I'm working on in Washington and across the Second District.

SCOTUS Rejects Biden's Student Loan Bailout
This is great news for hardworking taxpayers across the country!

Americans who paid off their loans or never took one out in the first place shouldn't be forced to foot the bill for this unconstitutional scam.
Traveling the District
I had a fantastic time in Marion County with Derek and Ed Belton joining them on a combine ride and discussing this year's wheat harvest.

As one of the top wheat-producing states in the country, it's vital that we continue to support farmers and producers across Kansas.
It was great to visit the Tampa Trail Stop this week—a not-for-profit, community-owned, and volunteer-staffed grocery store in Tampa, Kansas.

Thank you to Marion County Commissioner David Mueller and the Tampa community for such a warm welcome!
I had the opportunity to meet with Kansas City Kansas Community College President Dr. Mosier to learn about the programs KCKCC offers and tour the campus.

Thanks for having me!

I proudly voted to pass the CHOICE Arrangement Act this week to bring down coverage costs and increase access to quality healthcare for business owners & workers across our state.
