I know you’ve received a lot of messages this week, but this is the final time I’ll email you before our first public fundraising deadline of our 2024 campaign.

It’s critical, John. And the honest truth is that we're still coming up just a little bit short of our online fundraising target. So I had to reach out one last time.

I've said this before, but my least favorite part about running for Congress is fundraising. I also don't believe that money should play such an important factor in determining who wins this race.

But here's what keeps me going, John. Yes, the contributions we receive are instrumental in funding a winning campaign. But when an individual chips in, they’re also sending a message that another person in our community is ready to see some wholesale changes in Washington. That, to me, is much more powerful -- and it's why I value your support.
