We must be ambitious to overcome the challenges we face...
friend,
I wish I was writing to you with better news. But right now, the path
to achieving our vision of an equitable world where all can thrive is
increasingly threatened by the mainstreaming of hate and violent
extremism. We must urgently confront the hate-filled, divisive forces
that seek to divide our nation.
In her last message to you, Cherry shared our goal for this campaign.
It's so ambitious because we must be ambitious to overcome the
challenges we face. Friend, we've yet to reach our million-dollar goal. I
encourage you to contribute what you can to ensure we meet our goal
before the deadline tonight.
This is a community effort, and thousands of supporters have already
made a special gift to power our work to end white supremacy. Please
consider joining them before midnight.
This is your last chance: We're still falling short, and your
help is deeply needed. Make your first gift to the SPLC to get us
across the finish line.

I would like to extend my gratitude to the thousands of SPLC
supporters who have generously contributed to advance our mission for
justice. Realizing our vision for an inclusive, multiracial democracy
won't be easy, but I know that the goodwill of mission-driven
people like you means the march will continue.
Thank you for all that you do for the Southern Poverty Law Center.
Sincerely,
Margaret Huang

Subject: Less than 24 hours to go
friend,
As a loyal supporter of the SPLC, I want you to know exactly where we
stand. With less than 24 hours to go before our deadline, we're
short of reaching our $1 million goal.
I'm still hopeful... With the goodwill and generosity of
supporters like you, I believe we can reach - or even exceed
- $1 million before midnight strikes.
Please, friend, will you join the SPLC's movement for justice
by making your first special gift before the deadline tonight?

The right of Black and Brown students to an equitable higher education
was just rejected by the U.S. Supreme Court, legislators continue to
erode voting rights ahead of 2024 and cruel attacks on the LGBTQ+
community are escalating. We cannot stand by the sidelines at a time
like this.
If we reach our million-dollar goal tonight we'll be empowered
with the resources we need to defend our hard-won civil rights and
safeguard our democracy.
