Racist death threats are sadly nothing new to Rep. Cori Bush, as the first Black woman to represent Missouri in Congress. But they do mean that Cori needs a security detail 24 hours a day to protect her, her family, and her staff from white supremacists who are threatened by Cori’s leadership.

These death threats also mean that Cori needs to raise more money than most members of Congress because that security detail is not provided by the federal government -- it’s paid for by her re-election campaign.

Tonight at midnight, we’ll close the books on a critical fundraising deadline. After today we’ll report how much money we’ve raised and spent, and how much cash on hand we have for the re-election ahead. Our opponents will look for any weakness in hopes of taking Cori down.
