I know you’ve heard from my team a lot this week, and I appreciate you sticking with us. This is a big night for our campaign, and I’d like to take a moment to explain why just one more time.

After tonight, my team will turn over our fundraising report to the Federal Election Commission, and then everyone – including Kevin McCarthy and the right-wing Republicans targeting western Pennsylvania – will be able to see the strength of our grassroots movement. I know our people-powered team is unbeatable, and that’s why it’s so important to me that we put forward a report that reflects our strength.

John, asking for money is probably my least favorite part of campaigning. But the truth is, we don’t have the same corporate donors that the other side has. I’m proud to be funded by folks like you, but that means hitting critical goals like this one is dependent on all of us working together.
