Honoring Our Freedoms and Our Veterans this Fourth of July

Friend, 

This coming week we celebrate Independence Day. We live in the greatest Country to ever exist, and we should not take that for granted.

Our country adopted the Declaration of Independence 247 years ago. We celebrate our rights and freedoms on Independence Day. Those who came before us bravely fought to form the “Great Experiment," our constitutional republic. It is our duty to continue the work they started to build a more perfect union.

As we celebrate, it is important to thank the men and women who sacrificed everything for our freedom. I am grateful for every American service member, and their commitment to serve and protect our great nation. We are the land of the free because of the brave. I hope you join me this Independence Day in taking the time to thank our American service members.
