In a CNN town hall, former Vice President, and now Republican presidential hopeful, Mike Pence stated that he believes in “the deterrent of law.” That in order to better deter mass shooters, we don’t need responsible gun reforms, but rather to shorten the timeline for capital punishment from years to months.
Current Florida governor, and another extremist presidential hopeful, Ron DeSantis, when not attacking trans youths or immigrants in his state, is using government officials to help him raise dark money from top lobbyists, dubbed the “Ron-a-Rama.” And of course, former President and MAGA instigator, Donald Trump, is now being indicted for a second time and is now facing federal charges. These are the MAGA extremists that the Republican caucus are embracing and America’s working families can’t afford another year of GOP control.
