After inciting an insurrection, trying to overturn our election, and stealing classified documents once he left office, justice is finally being served against Donald Trump.
But I want to warn you that Trump and his allies are still a clear and present danger to our democracy. Not only is Trump still leading almost every Republican poll for 2024, but his allies in Congress like Speaker Kevin McCarthy and Chairman Jim Jordan are weaponizing their House majority and our committees to do Trump’s bidding.
Donald Trump says he has already raised nearly $7 million since he was indicted. That means we have to mount our defenses and make sure that if Republicans can’t defeat him in a primary, we have the resources to defeat Trump in 2024.
I won’t stop fighting to protect our democracy from these extremists, but we seriously cannot stop them without your support.
