Tonight at midnight is our FEC end-of-quarter fundraising deadline. After that, we'll be closing the books on the second quarter and our fundraising numbers will be made public for everyone to see – including the D.C. Republicans targeting our district.

This is an important deadline for our campaign. Our race will be one of the most competitive in the entire country next year, and election experts are already calling it a "toss-up." That's why my team and I set an ambitious online fundraising goal to reach before midnight to ensure we have the resources to win this tough race – but we're still coming up short.

With outside groups already pouring money into the district to attack me, we can't afford to miss this goal if we're going to fight back and keep up with Republican spending. But we can't get there without the support of this grassroots team.
