Hey John, I know I emailed you yesterday, but I wanted to reach out again to see if you can chip in before our big end-of-quarter fundraising deadline tonight.

You’re probably wondering: “Why do you need my support right now? Didn’t the election just happen?” You’re right, so let me take a minute to explain why your donations matter now more than ever.

I’m honored and humbled to wake up every day and go to work for the people of Pennsylvania. Serving as Governor is a responsibility I take seriously and don’t take for granted.

That’s why from day one, we got to work to make sure Pennsylvania is a place where everyone has the real freedom they deserve. We’ve taken real steps forward to open the doors of opportunity to workers, and we’ve fought to protect our fundamental civil rights.

I’m proud of what we’ve accomplished so far. But what we’re doing here in Pennsylvania couldn’t be more different than what we’re seeing come out of DC. Far-right politicians want to restrict abortion rights, give tax breaks to the wealthy and play dangerous games with our economy just to score political points.

No matter what partisan fighting goes on in DC, I’ll always fight to make progress for the issues we care about. But Pennsylvania is always a battleground, and we need to do everything we can to keep moving forward.
