Did you see the most recent news out of Louisiana? SCOTUS cleared the way to create a new majority-Black district in Louisiana — an amazing victory!
This comes on the heels of our historic win — just a few weeks ago — in Alabama with Allen v. Milligan where we successfully argued for more fair and equitable representation in Congress.
It’s very clear: Our case had a MAJOR impact, and its reverberations are already being felt across the nation.
But now, all eyes — including millionaire GOP backers — are on our home district, and I’m going to need your help to fend them off. Chip in $5 right now to help me defend my seat in the upcoming 2024 elections>>>
As the author and lead sponsor of the John R. Lewis Voting Rights Advancement Act, I am committed to seeing the Voting Rights Act restored and upheld in its entirety!
We cannot let the Voting Rights Act fade away into the dark recesses of an increasingly conservative, biased, and corrupt Supreme Court.
But if we’re going to see this victory continue to pave the way for a more just and equitable congressional landscape, we cannot lose Alabama’s 7th Congressional District — the place where it all started.
So, please, donate $5, $10, $15 or whatever you can to help defend my seat and fight for your voting rights here and across the country>>>
For our right to vote,
Terri Sewell
