I wanted to follow up with you on an event I will be hosting to honor our servicemembers:

The Veterans History Project (VHP) - sponsored by the Library of Congress - collects, preserves and makes accessible the firsthand recollections of U.S. military veterans. The program highlights the incredible stories of sacrifice, bravery, and heroism displayed by veterans across the country. To celebrate our veterans in Eastern North Carolina and take part in the Veterans History Project, my office will be hosting a kickoff event at the Jacksonville City Hall (815 New Bridge St, Jacksonville, NC 28540) on the 5th of July.

We have so many heroic veterans around Eastern North Carolina, and I would love to see their stories etched in history. If you or a loved one are interested in sharing your story, please fill out this form.
