As a member of the Senate Armed Services Committee, I'm proud to share that the FY2024 National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) has passed out of our committee – the first step in a months-long process to sign the NDAA into law.

This year's NDAA includes great investments in U.S. defense capabilities to fuel Oklahoma's military installations, support our men and women in uniform, and counter threats like Communist China. There is more work to be done, but I'm honored to fight on behalf of Oklahoma's proud military legacy to land significant victories for our state, and our country in the process.

Meeting with young Oklahomans is always the highlight of my day. As a proud alumni of the Oklahoma Future Farmers of America (FFA), I’m proud to see our next generation shaping the future of farming and agriculture business in America. I recently spoke with some bright Oklahoma FFA students on the steps of the U.S. Capitol. I had a great time chatting with you!

Our nation is at a turning point. China is expanding its influence, threatening our allies, and exploiting American weakness to achieve its goal of world domination. Unlike the previous administration that believed in peace through strength, Joe Biden is playing a dangerous game of appeasement. The current administration has allowed China to exploit weaknesses in manufacturing, trade, and national security, increase our dependence on the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and stifle our economy.

Senate Republicans are advocating for measures such as prioritizing military strength, diversifying the supply chain, and restricting China's acquisition of U.S. assets. It’s far past time for Joe Biden to get tough on China and work with us to bolster our national security and project strength on the global stage.

I recently wrote about this topic in my latest 'Mullin It Over' column, read it HERE. I also spoke with Newmax about Joe Biden's weakness abroad, check it out by clicking the link below.

Too often, big bully union bosses try to intimidate individuals and never face accountability. Teamsters CEO Sean O’Brien is one of those people. In a committee hearing earlier this year, I stood up to O’Brien’s intimidation tactics and called him out for threatening his own union members, claiming unions should be ‘militant organizations,’ and vilifying right-to-work states like Oklahoma.

This week, O’Brien challenged me with an, ‘anyplace, anytime cowboy’ dare, I responded with a date and time: Saturday, September 30th in Tulsa, Oklahoma to face off in an MMA fight for charity. I never planned on getting back into the ring 15 years after retiring from MMA – but I refuse to tolerate loudmouth bullies who speak against our state and put people down. I hope to be able to take on O’Brien this fall and more importantly, raise money for a great charitable cause.
