I wanted to remind you again why this race to flip CA-40 blue is so important and what’s on the line:

– Reproductive rights
– Gun violence reform
– Addressing climate change
– Strengthening our middle class
– Affordable healthcare

There’s a lot that we need to fight for, friends. Particularly, for folks whose voices and lives have been marginalized for too long by politicians like Young Kim, who believe that the right to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness belongs only to those who look, worship, and love as they do.

As you know, I’m up against Young Kim, who is anti-everything we should stand for as a country.

Enough is enough. Enough gun violence, enough taking away people's rights to live as their authentic selves, enough telling women what to do with their bodies, and enough of pretending a climate crisis does not exist.

We need to stand up for our values. We need to stand up for our communities to have the rights for ALL citizens to thrive in an inclusive and safe democracy.

In the meantime, I’m continuing my work to get to know voters and their concerns and advocate for our communities, especially historically marginalized ones.

This pride month, I was proud to stand with the LGBTQ+ community’s efforts to fight for equitable rights. My family and I were honored to march alongside activists and community leaders in the OC Pride Parade earlier this month.
