Hi John,
Summer is here, and re:power is heating up.
This month we’re thrilled to launch what we’re calling, “Hot Organizer Summer” - a recognition of the hard work organizers will be doing this Summer to prepare us for the battles ahead. Over the next few months we’ll be hitting the road with a new and exciting lineup of trainings made by and for organizers deep in the trenches of our movements (check out the training lineup below!).
The ongoing wave of attacks against our LGBTQI+ family, the recent ruling on Affirmative Action and the one year anniversary of the Dobbs decision are a clear reminder of the righteousness of our work and the need to continue working toward our northstar, a liberated, multiracial democracy, free from the oppressive systems of white supremacy and patriarchy.
We’re honored to continue doing this work alongside you and we can’t wait to see you on the road this summer.
Together.
Karundi Williams

Earlier this month we convened our inaugural Camp re:power, bringing together 73 participants representing 60 organizations from over 20 states!
Camp re:power provided participants with foundational field, digital, and base building organizing skills as well as with the support needed to develop transformative campaign plans that build state-based political power. Our camp curriculum and skill tracks were led by some of the nation’s leading experts in grassroots politics and organizing.

VAN/EveryAction Administration
In May we launched our VAN/EveryAction Administration online course.
This course focused on the core skills and decision-making practices necessary to manage voter data for an issue or legislative campaign. Participants learned how to use the Voter Activation Network (VAN) to build lists, cut turf, build counts and crosstab reports and more. Participants also learned to manage the events calendar and schedule email blasts in EveryAction.
Grassroots Strategy Academy
In April we launched our Grassroots Strategy Academy. In this course, participants learned and practiced the Strategy components of re:power’s Grassroots Organizing framework. Using practice scenarios, participants set goals, created a power analysis, and developed campaign timelines. Just as importantly, participants experienced what collaborative strategy can look like with the goal of bringing these skills and strategies back to their communities.
Data Analytics
In April, we also launched our Building Analytics Reports in Google Sheets training. In this course, participants developed an analytics dashboard and other visualizations in order to evaluate program efforts. This course also covered movement data, data clean up & storytelling with data.
