I know you’ve been hearing from our team a lot lately, but we’re just hours away from a major deadline. Our second end-of-quarter filing deadline is coming up tonight at 9 PM PT - I just checked the numbers and we’re falling $10,500 short of our goal.

It’s absolutely critical that we send in the strongest fundraising report possible (reminder - I already have a GOP opponent!), but I’m also going to be making a major decision tonight about when we can hire our Field Director for this campaign cycle and how much we can spend on ads. Everything depends on whether we can reach this goal before 9 PM or not. 

The Republicans have already spent five figures attacking me. Kevin McCarthy is going to be looking at our report to see how much we’ve raised to decide whether to double down on their attacks. 

If we reach our goal, we can show them we’re ready to keep this seat blue. If not, they’re going to take it as a sign that their attacks are working. We have to fight back.
