Kitsap County

Kitsap County residents are invited to follow in the footsteps of 2023 South Kitsap High School graduate Statia Ruffin Masters, whose "I Voted" sticker design will be included with ballots in the 2023 Primary and General Election.

I Voted 2023

The Kitsap County Auditor's Office is inviting all county residents to submit their proposed designs for elections in 2024.

Ruffin Masters submitted her art earlier this year, one of 30 students in the county to do so.  The entries were judged with no names attached.

"We received a lot of very good entries and it was tough to choose just one for the 2023 sticker," said Paul Andrews, Kitsap County Auditor. "Next year we may decide to find a way to print more than one entry."

Sixteen of this year's entries are on the cover of the Primary Local Voters' Pamphlet. The General Election pamphlet will feature Ruffin Masters' design alongside others from students who approved their release.

The high school contest followed the county's first mass issuance of "I Voted" stickers for the 2022 General Election.

For 2024 the contest continues, with all Kitsap County residents invited to submit designs for elections beginning with the March Presidential Primary. The deadline is 8 a.m., October 17. Entries must be accompanied by a signed release form obtainable from our office or at [link removed] .

Entries must be from residents of Kitsap County.

Art should be designed to fit a 2-inch circle, using "I Voted" as a prominent feature. We encourage designers to also include the words "Kitsap County" if possible, and art or scenery that is unique to Kitsap, and all elements must be free to use and not restricted by copyright. We'll accept standard photo formats, such as jpg or png.
