Friend, a little about me first – I was born and raised in Hyde Park by my adoptive parents. They taught me early on the importance of advocating for change in your community, and having been in office since 2019, that's exactly what I've tried to do.
This session, I fought for temp workers, for criminal justice reform, and for lower healthcare costs.
Together, I want to continue this fight in Springfield to make sure we're all treated equally.
But there's a lot at stake today. It's the last day of the quarter, and that means it's a massive fundraising deadline. This can have a huge effect on our efforts moving forward. Let me explain –
1️⃣ Meeting this goal tells anyone – journalists, analysts, and conservative leaders – about the strength and depth of support for our work.
2️⃣ A strong fundraising quarter is a great way to encourage potential partners, like local organizations, to join Team Peters.
3️⃣ It allows us to make room in the budget for the rest of our summer expenses – resident outreach and essential campaign materials like yard signs and mailers.
Here's the bottom line: We're relying on grassroots support to help our team make it through the last half of the year. We're so close to meeting our goal, any amount of support will make a difference. Friend, can we count on your support ASAP?
