Our calendar here at NILC Immigrant Justice Fund doesn’t follow the typical January through December timeline. Our fiscal year actually runs from July 1 to June 30. That means today is the biggest fundraising deadline of our year!

With that in mind, I’m reaching out to ask for supporters to add one final contribution of the NILC-IJF year. I hope you’ll let me explain why donating now, rather than any other time, is so important.

Organizations like ours rely on financial support from generous donors to fund our work year-round. After tonight’s deadline, we’ll assess our finances and plan our budget for the coming year starting July 1. Every contribution makes a difference in how far we can get in our mission to secure racial, economic, and social justice for low-income immigrants in this country.

We set ambitious goals for ourselves for fundraising, political engagement, and democratic participation. As our fiscal year draws to a close, it’s crucial that we meet our fundraising goals so we can continue operating at the level necessary to make an impact. That’s why we need as many people as possible on this grassroots team, like you, to rally behind NILC-IJF by midnight tonight!

As you can see, supporters like you make the work we are doing possible. So, with hours to go until our end-of-year deadline, will you add a donation to help sustain our organization and this movement for immigrant justice?
