Dear John,

For more than twenty years I have loved Alice Rolli. Many of you are just now getting to know what I know - her passion, her intelligence, her commitment to service and her enduring sense that better is possible. 

I've watched Alice build systems to scale companies, restructure complex state programs, recruit teams to campaign for principled leaders and take on the downtown crowd and recruit 5,000 citizens to help save Ft. Negley. 

When I was deployed to Iraq, she'd organize her friends and family to send care packages. She finds a way to bring more people with disparate views to the table than anyone I've ever seen - and as the cook in our family, it means we sometimes are feeding 28 at Thanksgiving! 

Now is our time to support Alice to advance the message that pragmatic, common sense leadership is what we desperately need in Nashville. If we keep electing the same people defending the same way of doing things, we can't expect to get a different result.
