 Dear Neighbors,
I hope you have enjoyed your summer. It's been nice to be back in the Lakes Area and I?ve enjoyed getting to see many of you around town and chatting about the 2023 legislative session and the things that matter most to you and your family.
Despite all the craziness of this last session we're looking forward to celebrating Independence Day here in the Brainerd lakes and are so blessed to live in a nation that values freedom and liberty.
Make sure to check out the 4th of July parade in Brainerd on Tuesday where the theme is the city?s 150th birthday! The parade is set to begin at 6:00 PM on Tuesday. There are several fireworks displays taking place around the area as well, details are below:
- Brainerd fireworks begin at 10:15 PM on Tuesday at Don Adamson Field.
- Nisswa fireworks are on Monday, July 3rd, at the Nisswa Community Center.
- Pequot Lakes fireworks on Monday, July 3rd, at the Pequot Lakes High School practice field.
