You may have seen a recent email from my colleague Catalina asking for your support in our end-of-quarter fundraising efforts. It’s critical we hit this goal if we want to continue our push for bipartisan immigration reform efforts.
Look, John, I’m not going to sugarcoat it. Mobilizing constituents in support of legislation like the Dignity Act – a new bipartisan immigration bill introduced in the House last month – is not easy. It takes a village – from our Policy team producing explainers and white papers to educate grasstops leaders and leading coalition calls to bring partners to the table, to our Communications teams creating digital content
to mobilize grassroots supporters and producing op-eds and making outreach calls to engage media.
Your support for this kind of work has never been more critical.
We know that our out-of-date immigration system does not always aid us in ensuring our
communities thrive as we include and welcome newcomers. We need practical solutions. Our policies need to reflect our current realities and our values.
With your support, we can continue calling on Congress to support the Dignity Act and address the critical need for compassionate solutions and reforms to our system.
