96 On "Bidenomics" President Biden visited Chicago this week to
attempt a revamp of his economic message, now officially called
"Bidenomics."

It was an interesting location choice: a city
experiencing years of record-breaking crime causing residents and
businesses to leave in a state with high taxes causing residents and
businesses to leave.

A Democrat success story, apparently.

Over
the course of a 40-minute speech on the economy, he only mentioned
inflation a grand total of four times. Seeing that inflation has become
the hallmark of his presidency, I found that just a little odd.

In
fact, since taking office up to April of this year, inflation has
increased a whopping 16.3%. Of the previous seven presidents, only
President Carter had a higher number.

That is "Bidenomics."

And
may explain why only 34 percent of Americans approve of his handling of
the economy.

Sincerely,
Chairman Kyle Hupfer

Governor Holcomb's Week That WasIndiana is 'READI' for
Continued GrowthGovernor Eric Holcomb talks with Evansville Mayor Lloyd
Winnecke during a luncheon in Evansville last Friday.
Late last week,
Governor Eric Holcomb was in Evansville to attend the Evansville
Regional Economic Partnership luncheon. He was joined on stage by
Republican Mayor Lloyd Winnecke to discuss Indiana's investment momentum
and advancing quality of life around the state.

The takeaway:
Communities like Evansville are looking to capitalize on this momentum,
but the focus of the conversation zeroed in on fostering more attractive
communities and building infrastructure to support the development that
is, will, and can occur.
"He [Gov. Holcomb] wants the state improve its
amenities, show its competitiveness on the national stage and continue
creating employment opportunities," noted

is 'READI' for more: The state's Regional Economic Acceleration and
Development Initiative (READI) is a key part in making this happen.
With an additional $500 million allocated to the program in the newest
budget, the state is gearing up to launch READI 2.0. The first $500
million leveraged an additional $9 billion — that's billion with a "b"
— from non-profits, corporations, and government entities, with nearly
half of that going toward housing development. “We can do those kinds
of projects all over the state of Indiana,” Gov. Holcomb told Inside
Indiana Business. “What that creates is a real need for a skilled
workforce in the construction trades primarily, and the raw materials
to make sure that we can accommodate that type of that type of
growth."  MORE: Yesterday, Gov. Holcomb
